elasticsearch - logstash 5.0 ubuntu 14.04 -


i trying install elk stack read apache access logs.

i have installed kibana , elasticsearch documentation, , running successfully. when got logstash installation, have installed it, when run upstart command run service doesn't seem working.

i getting when doing update && install logstash command:

it seems have ran once , cannot start or restart or anything, have missed?

the documentation says should happen, doesn't seem happening:

the auto-generated configuration file upstart systems /etc/init/logstash.conf.

i looked in /etc/logstash/startup.options , in heading says if changes run /usr/share/logstash/bin/system-install update init startup script. getting error if manually run ./system-install:
